I've made these before... but mine have always been balls wrapped in layers so you get concentric circles when you slice it. I really like your surprising random interior design!
They are absolutely the most fun to make when you are just sitting around chatting with friends - old and new! I love the one I made in your class, and it always makes me smile - fond memories of a wonderful three days of class with you!
I do like this! The first thought I had was to add beads. However, my idea was to add beads to the inner surface. I just read of a technique called "Messy Beads" that lets you add them in clumps for real texture. But, I love your surface beads!
