Rituals at the Long Beach Quilt Festival

I'm thrilled to have been juried into Rituals, an exhibition of quilts that will debut at the Long Beach International Quilt Festival, July 26-29 and is sponsored by Moore's Sewing Centers and Havel's Sewing . It will also be shown in Houston, Texas at the International Quilt Market (Oct 27-29) and Houston Quilt Festival (Oct 31-Nov 4).

I do love farmers markets! This one in Orvieto was especially nice. My students and I wandered and drew and watercolored and shopped.

We gathered back at the B&B to draw and paint our farmers market goodies. Then we cleared the table of art supplies, and had a wonderful lunch!

I taught "Sketching and Watercolor: Journal Style" to eight wonderful students in Orvieto, Italy thanks to Adventures in Italy.

We had some rain in the beginning of the week, so we spent some time painting in the Etruscan Museum and a cafe.
